From manual operations to a well-oiled machine.

The problem

Manufacturing client with 150 temporary workers on average, flexing to 350 across 3 sites and 15 job titles. Their old process involved paper timesheets and manual tracking of attendance issues. Each vendor was required to maintain a specified volume and report against their performance.

The simple solution

SimpleVMS automated their entire process from job posting through invoicing. SimpleVMS also implemented electronic time and attendance tracking, completely eliminating the manual process. Custom reporting was developed to track the client’s specific KPIs that were previously tracked manually by the staffing vendor on-sites. Due to the resulting time savings, each of the 3 staffing firms operating at this client were able to reallocate resources away from invoicing / AR, business intelligence, and time / attendance to focus on a higher level of recruiting and worker retention. The time savings for each staffing firm differed, but averaged around 0.5 – 1 FTE worth of time across all functions
